The staff at the hotel were very friendly and attentive. The room, though small, was nice and clean.
Friendly staffs, clean room, near sky-train and subway, safety.
I was given a bottle of water even though I am sure that bottled water is not easy to find in Tokyo at the moment.
Good value for the price for a small double room. It was small but was well equipped.
Not handicapped room. Only handicapped toiled in the ground floor.
LocaTION....Ideally situated beside JR Sobu line and easy access to all JR lines and subways. Nice neighbourhood as well......good selection of handy, inexpensive eats adn some better places.
Hotel is aging and showing its age.....smoking atmosphere and smells. A bit grimy around the edges but must expect that with its age. Access to free coffee and tea but you have to ask momma-san to make it for you. I would prefer to help myself rather than bother staff to make one cup of tea or coffee. better value can be found in other neighbourhoods....just a little further out. But it's hard to beat this location for easy access to transportation network. Ideal for JR pass-holders......
Location is very good, subway& train station 3min walk away. Room is very small, but tidy, just enaugh to crash in your bed after long and excting day in Tokyo :) we had twin room, 2 comfy beds, small desk, chair, fridge, water boiler. Nice and quiet place. I would reccomend it for stay in Tokyo!
The reception officers speaks English very well
Quite costly for me comparing with the condition of the room. However, I like the fact that they provide free internet in the room.
I really loved how the hotel owner, her daughter and the rest of the staff treated you like family.
Soooo kind staff, good position, good price
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, rooms are tiny but clean and with all you need
This place is awesome. The room's pretty small, but has all the nessesary stuff - a hair dryer, a fridge, a conditioner, a TV, a phone and a clock. Plenty of shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom - don't have to bring or buy any! Very clean, towels get changed every day. The staff is very nice and helpful, speaks good English. Great people, really. And the location is just perfect - next to Tokyo Metro, JR, Sumida river. A 10 minutes walk to Akihabara - if you like anime, games and such, you know you'll spend there ages. There are plenty of shops and cafes around, so it's easy to go buy food and other stuff anytime.
The staff are excellent, always willing to help out with any request. Great that they speak English. The rooms were very clean. Really happy with accommodation and will certainly stay in this hotel in my next trip. Thanks Tomoko for all your help with the soccer tickets :-)
The friendly staff who fluently speak English and the excellent location (100 m away from a subway station on the line which connects both major airports of Tokyo, plus some important sites)
The very small room and bathroom
Location excellent. 2 minute walk to Asakusabashi station. Very friendly helpful staff. Free wifi, 2 computers with webcam and mic for skyping. Budget friendly. As with all Japanese hotels our room was super clean. a
Beds were not great, but OK. Pillows were hard, but they were hard in every place we stayed so I think this is Japanese style. No wifi in the rooms which is a pain.
